“ Amazing place. Will be replaced by a new name now and still have my fav Vietnamese coffee!! ”
“ So sad to hear that Shi Shi Boba is closing! Located right on Hancock Street in Quincy Center, Shi Shi Boba is a cool spot to grab some food and tasty boba. They have some authentic Vietnamese food as well, including Banh Mis and some noodles. They will close permanently on 12/2/24 which is quite sad. I love their mango smoothies and mango fruit teas! I wasn't able to try their food, but have only heard good things. The service was friendly and fast, I always got my drinks quickly. I hope to see Shi Shi Boba reopen elsewhere! The location is tough due to limited parking. Their space was quite large, with TONS of seating. I would've loved to see them use the space besides just seating but I understand how difficult it is. I will miss them greatly! ”
“ This is a really cool hangout spot with plenty of seating and board games. There's many flavors for drinks and the food is really affordable. There's a self-order kiosk for simple ordering with the many available options. I will want to try the food next time. ”
“ Their peach tea is so yummy. Easy menu on a large touch screen monitor and you pay on it as well. Drink came out fast and fresh. Lots of seating and games available ”
“ I have gone to Shishi Boba two days in a row & love their avocado smoothie. Their boba has a nice chew & compliment their drinks well. The iced strawberry matcha latte is okay. The drink could have been colder but stayed warm even with a full cup of ice until finished. We also tried their beef banh mi and it was pretty delicious. They cooked the beef on a grill and warm up the baguette before assembling the sandwich together. Flavor wise it was great; I wished that they were more generous with meat as there were only a few pieces of beef in the banh mi. They have a large space & also have a pool table in the back area. I think that Shishi boba definitely has potential. My favorites so far are the avocado smoothie with boba and beef banh mi (my only wish is for there to be more meat in the sandwich). ”
“ Definitely cute up front, not a ton of air flow but they leave the front door open for fresh air. You can order on a screen by register or simply order the "old school" way and talk to the associate / owners. So the drinks were pretty good, not the best I've had but if you're on hancock in the area, it was pleasantly tasty. I got the strawberry try matcha with boba and it was tasty without the artificial tasting strawberry a lot of places have. The avocado smoothie was our second one and it was pretty slay. I got a beef Vietnamese sub, it tasted great, was hot and the beef was grilled to order so it took awhile. The only thing i might say is for the price compared to other Banh Mi Shops i would have liked a larger portioning of beef in the sub, but the fact it was grilled on a hot top to order was pretty cool to see since most places don't do that and it's already premade on batches and assembled when ordered. The back half of the space is definitely huge, i get it that area is all large older spaces with cracked tiles and storage rooms (maybe place some promo posters up or black curtains to hide the storage areas. The pool table in back and claw games kind of cool to kill time. Hope y'all do well! Will be back ”
“ Ordered Strawberry milk tea with akoya white pearl and Mango milk tea with Tahitian black pearl since the pearls and milk tea combo were different than other boba places. Taste was okay, wouldn't purposely travel to drink boba here but might get it if I happen to be in the area. They do have some games and tables big enough to play board games with a large group of people which would make it a good place to host a game night. They do have some pool table and stuff in the large room at the back but the atmosphere wasn't as good as the front. ”
“ My partner and I got a Tahitian fresh milk tea (w 50% sugar and less ice), banh mi dac biet (special), and banh mi thit lon nuong (pork) - TASTE: 4/5 - enjoyed the cold cuts and pork floss in my special banh mi, and the roasted pork was fatty and tasty. Didn't taste any elements of a fish sauce or Maggi sauce, which is what I'm used to at Ba Le. The Tahitian fresh milk tea had the perfect amount of sweet brown sugar TEXTURE: 4/5 - fresh baguette, creamy mayo, and crisp veggies PRICE: 4/5 - the banh mi started at $8-9 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - perfect for lunch SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 12:30pm on a Saturday, and only a couple others were inside. Ordered at the self-service kiosk, and our order was ready in 10min ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 - some cute decor elements w fun music playing. Didn't see any games: the large area in back, presumably for the arcade, was cleared out. Some of the furniture inside was metal patio furniture, which seemed out of place PARKING: 4/5 - got lucky w a free spot right in front of Shi Shi Boba on Hancock St ”
“ The banh mi here is a good one. I had the bbq pork one and when you bite into it, the baguette crust is thin and crispy. The bread is airy and soft inside and was rolled flat and filled with pickled veggies, pate and pork. It was very tasty. The pork dried noodles is packed with a spicy punch and has chewy noodles mixed with ground and slices of pork. It was too spicy for me but next time I get it, I'll ask them to make it less spicy. The Vietnamese brown coffee is rich, creamy and strong. The strawberry milk tea is my favorite. It's fruity, creamy and sweet. Overall, the food and drinks are yummy. The staff there were super friendly and very accommodating. I'll be back. ”
